:: Database applications ::
- DabbleDB
“Access your database from anywhere over the web. Invite your colleagues to browse or edit it. Export to your spreadsheet or to PDF. Keep tabs on changes through your newsreader or your calendar”. Easy-to-create databases, easy to use. This is going to be a paying service (30 day free trial).
- Nenest
“Nenest Web Application Framework (NWAF) is a form-based online software platform which enables anyone to build web applications supporting large databases effortlessly. It hides programming, database designing, HTML scripting in the back end, then users won’t need any IT knowledge to build professional online software, such as Online Store, Web Notebook, Online Storage, Onlne Form, Online Survey, Customer Management System, Order Tracking System, Bug Database and so on.”
- Lazybase
A generic database tool that allows one to design, create and share an online database of whatever one likes. Databases are by default auto-generated strings like http://lazybase.com/dbhome?a=726242248&k=408217331 though there is a facility to rename them as subdirectories, e.g. http://lazybase.com/myBigBookList/
Not quite the sophistication of DabbleDB; but still an easy-to-create/-use database, with the added bonus of being able (with cut-&-paste Javascript) to insert the database into an existing web page.
